Directions Adults: Take 1 or 2 tablets every 4 hours as needed with water. Do not take more than 12 tablets in a 24 hour period. Children: As directed by your doctor. Ask a doctor before use: if you are allergic to aspirin, have asthma, stomach problems that persist or recur, have ulcers or bleeding problems; if you are taking a prescription drug for anticoagulation (thinning of the blood), diabetes or gout. Stop using this product if: pain or fever persist or gets worse; ringing in the ears or loss of hearing occurs; new symptoms occur; redness or swelling is present. See a doctor. These could be signs of a serious condition. Keep out of reach of children. In case of accidental overdose, seek medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Temporarily reduces fever. Directions Do not take more than directed. Adults: Take 1 caplet every 4 to 6 hours while symptoms occur. If pain or fever does not respond to 1 caplet, 2 caplets may be used but do not exceed 6 caplets in 24 hours, unless directed by a doctor. The smallest effective dose should be used. Warnings Allergy alert: ibuprofen may cause a severe allergic reaction which may include hives, facial swelling, asthma (wheezing), shock. Stop use and ask a doctor if: an allergic reaction occurs - seek medical help right away; fever gets worse or lasts more than 3 days; pain gets worse or lasts more than 10 days; stomach pain occurs with the use of this product; the painful area is red or swollen; any new or unexpected symptoms occur. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use. It is especially important not to use ibuprofen during the last 3 months of pregnancy unless definitely directed to do so by a doctor because it may cause problems in the unborn child or complications during delivery. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
