Dulcolax Suppository 8ct - Laxative Uses Relieves occasional constipation and irregularity. This product usually causes bowel movement in 15 minutes to 1 hour. Directions Adults and children 12 years and over: 1 suppository once daily. Remove foil. Insert suppository well into rectum, pointed end first. Retain about 15 to 20 minutes. Children 6 to under 12 years: 1/2 suppository once daily. Children under 6 years: Ask a doctor. Warnings For rectal use only. Do not use: when abdominal pain, nausea or vomiting are present. Ask a doctor before use if you have: stomach pain, nausea or vomiting; a sudden change in bowel habits that lasts more than 2 weeks. When using this product: you may have abdominal discomfort, faintness, rectal burning and mild cramps. Stop use and ask a doctor if: rectal bleeding occurs or you fail to have a bowel movement after using a laxative. This may indicate a serious condition; you need to use a laxative for more than 1 week. If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a doctor before use. Keep out of reach of children. If swallowed, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away. Active Ingredients Per Suppository: Bisacodyl USP 10 mg Inactive Ingredients Hydrogenated Vegetable Oil Family Pharmacy Magnesium Citrate Low Sodium Cherry 10oz - Saline Laxative Uses For the relief of occasional constipation or irregularity. This product generally produces bowel movement in 1/2 to 6 hours. Directions Adults 12 yrs and older: 10 fl oz. Children 6 to under 12 yrs: 3 to 7 fl oz. Children 2 to under 6 yrs: 2 to 3 fl oz. Children under 2 yrs: consult a doctor. Drink a full glass (8 oz) of liquid with each dose. The dose may be taken as a single daily dose or in divided doses. Do not exceed maximum daily dose.
