Astringent Uses Helps in the treatment of acne. Directions Cleanse the skin thoroughly before application. Apply to your face in a gentle, stroking motion. Do not rinse. The cool sensation tells you that it's working. Use 1 to 3 times daily, then gradually increase to 2 to 3 times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to 1 time a day or every other day. Warnings For external use only. Avoid contact with eyes.
